The members of our thrift store endeavor to maintain gently used articles of clothing and other items in good repair. This is a compiled list of the most common items that may come into our store and is not inclusive of what we do or do not accept at our store.
Donations We Accept:
Clean gently used clothing, boots and shoes (no tears, stains, broken zippers or missing buttons, etc)
Linens, blankets, bedspreads etc (no tears, stains etc)
Towels, tablecloths, dishtowels, face cloths
Dishes (no chips please)
Pots & pans
Small appliances complete with parts (irons, microwaves, toaster ovens, coffee pots, etc)
Stereos, clocks, VCR’s, DVD players (preferably with remote controls)
Sports equipment (we do not accept items past the expiry date)
Snowboard equipment
Ski Equipment
Ice skates
Tables, chairs, bookcases
Tools
Toys (complete parts, no broken toys please)
Puzzles (complete please)
Donations Not Accepted:
Building materials such as drywall, lumber etc
Mattresses, box springs, bed frames, cribs, futons
Electric blankets or heating pads
Crib bumper pads, pak and play, high chairs
Child car seats and booster seats
Open or outdated cosmetics and lotions
Large entertainment stands
T.V’s
Computers (including printers, scanners, monitors, mouse, keyboards etc)
Broken or stained furniture
Fridges, stoves, water coolers, dishwashers, washer & dryers
Paint - including house paint
Poisons
Fuel containers
Please take your recyclable food jars, outdated magazines, newspapers and T.V’s to the recycle depot. This will help to lower our costs that we incur for our recycling.
